Not sure what to say?

Charlie was a great guy. He was always willing to help out with the Brigadiers pit equipment whenever necessary. I remember one incident when (for some reason) we had a misunderstanding about who was going to drive the tractor to bring the pit equipment into one show. I don't recall what year it was (2000, 2002 or 2003) or what particular show but Charlie never griped or said anything about the misunderstanding. Dear Marie and Family:

We were so saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. He would always find time to talk with us whenever we ran into him. He was great to be with especially when the Syracuse Drum Corps Show took place. We miss Ann too. She was so much fun to be aroound, so very outgoing the both of them. She and your father made everyone feel comfortable to be around them. May they find eternal happiness now that they are back together. Our deepest sympathies are with you...

Liz, the boys and I are sorry to hear about your Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

He is away, yet ever near.
His presense fills the air

To DeeDee, Marie, and family:
My deepest sympathies extended to your family on Charlie's passing, we go back a long time in our association with the Maurader 76ers, and 76ers respectively, to include the American Legion and Sons of American Legion, and the County Directorate of the American Legion, your dad was always a "can do" person and a dedicated man to his family and organizations alike,

And in remembering the trip to Colorado with the 76ers in 1977 a man who was a...
