Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Chucks passing. I worked with him many times over the years in patrol and knew him well. He was always a go to guy with a great sense of humor and a lot of common sense. He always made things better. Sincere condolences to his family.

Chuck was one of the best men in the Oakland Police Department. He was fair, lovable, endearing, and supportive of fellow officers. I met him when he taught defensive driving in the academy. He and his instructions have saved my life several times. I owed him. But, more importantly he was my friend. I could go to him and talk, ask questions, or state an opinion without getting a rash of unwanted judgment. He could look past the politics and see the real person. I loved and respected him. I...

Dear Mary,
I was sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I pray you will have peace and receive comfort, even in this difficult time.

Nicole and Heidi, I have often thought of you two over the years, googled often but got nothing. Googled you tonight and of course got the news of your loss. Quite a shock to hear of your loss and that I missed the service by a day. Please call me when you are up to it- I'd love to see you both again and maybe you'd like to see no longer little Celia and Neil. My prayers are with you all. Love, Barbara 510-703-1481

Teich Family,
Im very sorry for your loss.
I worked with Chuck in the Traffic Division in the early 90s and would consistantly mess up my accident reports, that he was in charge of reviewing. I never once, remember him getting upset or angry. It was always just the opposite. He would just put his arm around me or just laugh and assure me that it was no big deal. He was the type of man that I strive to be as a father.
May God bless him and your entire family.

Mrs Teich,

Dear Mary, I cannot express how sorry I am for the loss of your beloved Chuck. Working with him at O.P.D. Traffic for all those years was the best time ever. He always made us feel like we were on the same team. His smile lit up the room and our faces. He will always be in our hearts!
