Not sure what to say?

Charlie was a good friend. We spent much time talking about old friends and Columbia characters - some gone some still here. He had a good memory and an engaging sense of humor. Good story tellers are rare and he was a gem. I'll miss him.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Charley meant so much to me over the years.
I have always considered him like a father and have missed him the last two years.
I'm sure he is in heaven telling someone, "Come see me!"

Judy:
Our hearts were sadden to hear of Charly's passing. My father loved him like a son and we all had such fond memories of the times we spent together.
He always took the time when he was in Greensboro to stop by and see dad, which meant the world to my father. He was a one of a kind person--we loved him.
Carol

Charley was such a special person. We enjoyed innumerable visits with him at The Palmetto Club where we solved all the world problems and talked Gamecock football.

Deepest sympathy to his family.

Skip and Ann Weldon

Please accept my deepest condolences on Charley's passing. I have many good memories of Charley at the Palmetto Club.
