Not sure what to say?

I enjoyed listening to his sermons, they helped me doing trouble times. Rev. Thomas as always been my favorite pastor. God bless his family. I still remember his sermons they shaped my life.

I will never forget the sermons that you preached and inspired me with. You were good for the citizens of Newark. I feel truly blessed to have called you "MY PASTOR!"

Chris, Charles, Rob, Sharon, Vincent, Makia, & Matthew. I am truly sorrow for your loss, but find peace and joy in knowing that your dad loved all of you, and he was a good man with truly a big heart. I feel honored to have known him. His memories will live on through all of you. I love you all.

On behalf of the Wilson Family of The New Hope Baptist Church, I am compelled to extend to the family our deepest sympathy. Pastor (as we called him) will truly be missed. We will miss his presence and his voice saying, "My darlings, I love you and you can't do a thing about it". My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your loved one, Pastor Thomas. Even though I am no longer living in NJ, I often think about the many sermons delivered by Pastor Thomas that I enjoyed. His sermons were always very spiritually and uplifting to me. I thank God that I was touched by Pastor Thomas and the New Hope Church family over the twenty years living in the Newark/Irvington area.

My condolences to the Thomas family, during this time of transition. The Johnson Family loved you. You are gone but never forgotten. Words cannot express the impact Reverended Thomas had on my family and so many people. His grace, widsom and vision were truly a blessing from God.
I am grateful to have been allowed to call him my pastor for over twenty eight years. I love you and there is nothing you can do about it. My prayers are with Vincent, Matthew, Sharon and the entire Thomas...

I have fought the fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7) These words embody the spirit of Pastor Thomas. He was a great man of faith and a great pastor. He loved us and we couldn't do a thing about it...Thank GOD!
To the Thomas family and the entire New Hope Family, you are in our prayers.
With Love, The Griggs Family

Words really cannot express the impact Reverend Thomas had on so many people especially my immediate and church family. His grace, wisdom and vision were truly blessings from God. His life and legacy are a testimony of what the Lord can do if we serve Him with our whole heart. I am grateful to have been allowed to call him Pastor for most of my life. Even now I can still hear him say: I love you and there's nothing you can do about it. My prayers are with Vincent, Sharon, Matthew and the...
