Charlie was a unique personality; his brilliance offset by a dry and wry sense of humor. One of his favorite expressions was " knowledge is power" and his constant search for knowledge was part of his being. He was gentle and thoughtful. Highly respected by his peers, he was modest and self deprecating . A good neighbor, and a good friend , he will be missed by his Alplaus companions as well as his family.
