i am at a lost for words there is no words to explain how i feel at this time rip to a sweet kind compassionate man of god i hope to see you again some day

I am saddened to learn of Charles' passing. Not only was he my high-school friend and classmate, he was a wonderful Christian. Mattie and family, be comforted in knowing that there will soon be a reunion that will last for eternity.

To the Thurman Family, My deepest condolences. Today, I just learned of the passing of Rev. Thurman. Such a wonderful, spiritual, kind spirited gentleman. His memories of Second Baptist Church during the days of my grandmother (Lucy Burrell) will always be in my heart. Always there for me and my family during my most difficult times.
