Not sure what to say?

When I left my job as an Administrative Systems Analyst at Sikorsky Aircraft, Charlie hired me after just a brief discussion of why I left my cushy corporate job. That discussion lasted about five minutes and it was all he needed to hire me as the Assistant Director of of the Concentrated Employment Program known as CEP. While we didn't always see eye to eye, I always had great respect for Charlie`s dedication to making Bridgeport a better place to live! I will always be thankful for the...

One of the nicest people ever ....

I would like to say Mr and Mrs Tisdale complimented each other in a perfect union. Would the world be so blessed again in my lifetime. May I continue preserverance I learned from both.

Charles Tisdale was the essence and epitome of what a true leader should be. He was my mentor, employer, and alumni member. It is still surreal to me that he is no longer with us. But I know this--------- that he and Jettie are together again, and will be together eternally. That in itself brings a smile upon my face.

Charlie was a big man with big ideas and big follow through. Always reliable for assistance no matter the situation. He lead on so many issues and impacted many many lives. You were fortunate if you got to know him and work with him. A great friend and mentor.

My sympathies are with the Tisdale family at this time of great lost to the community. Mr. Tisdale will always be remembered for being a strong pillar of the community for achieving better programs for Bridgeport Youth, Director of ABCD summer youth programs to keep children off of the streets, and always stood for first rate education for all children of Bridgeport. Thank you for all that you did Mr. Tisdale. It will not be forgotten. God bless you in heaven.
