Not sure what to say?

Char,
I would like to express my deepest sympathies on your loss. I can remember the "mayor of 76thct/77th ave" through all of my childhood years. My brother Mike and myself spent a lot of time in the alley and garage with you and Chuck and I will never forget that. Chuck was a wonderful and kind hearted man who will always be remembered.
Again, I am so sorry for the entire families loss.

Dear Charlotte and Chuck's Family,
I didn't know Chuck very well but since I am unable to attend the visitation, I wanted to express my heartfelt sympathies on your loss. He seemed to me to be the kind of guy who always had a smile for everyone he met. I remember him fondly. To Charlotte, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Love, your godchild, Judy and my husband Bob Schultz.
