As an undergraduate sociology major, Dr. Tolbert was one of my most memorable professors. When I earned a doctorate in educational psychology, I was honored to have him from outside the department on my committee. He was a compassionate, caring gentleman, who always made time to discuss anything I had on my mind. And he was so proud of Charlie! Throughout the years, anytime I talked to him he always wanted me to know what Charlie was up to.
