Not sure what to say?

Mr. Trum and I started teaching the same year together at Krahn. He was a very sweet and loving man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He will be missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I feel fortunate to have worked with Charles and call him friend, if only for a short time. I pray for God's comfort and peace for those he left behind who miss him dearly. My praise is that Charles is no longer in pain and has received ultimate healing.

My brother, Sam McGovern, and I lost our Dad in 1958, when we were very young. Joe Trum, Charles' Dad, graciously stepped in and took Sam to Father/Son banquets as we were growing up so he wouldn't have to go alone. We've talked about that often and have wondered what became of him. Sounds like he raised a son who was as kind, generous, and loving as he was.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heartfelt condolences to the Trum family.

My son, Robert, had Mr. Trum as his fifth grade teacher at Krahn Elementary. Robert always spoke very highly of Mr. Trum, and I was very impressed with his teaching style and with how great an example he was for the male students. We are saddened to hear of his passing. Our deepest sympathy goes to all his family.

I use to work with Charles and his father on the Apartment Association of South East Texas. He and his father were both hard works and surely will be missed. My prayers are for everyone

Mary, Caroline, Charlie, and Hannah,

We are so deeply saddened to hear about the loss of such a good man. To change careers like he did because he knew teaching is where he wanted to be in life left a lasting impression on us. Many times I thought back on that decision and have asked myself "what I am passionate about and what do I want to do with my life". My favorite memory of Charles is how welcomed and at ease we felt in your home. Mary, you and Charles always made us feel...

Mr.Trum taught my son, Justin, last year at Krahn Elementary. Eventhough he was feared at the beginning of the year, he was dearly loved by the end. Justin has very fond memories of his year with Mr. Trum. Our deepest sympathy for the Trum family.
