Charles Richard "Charlie" Tuma

I remember Charlie from high school and his high interest in radio. I am glad he was able to stay involved in his life interest. Sympathy to Jolene.

I had the pleasure of working for Charlie during my college summers. He was always willing to give us plenty of latitude when producing commercials so we could be creative. This willingness to take a risk and let us try something new led to a national advertising award ( a "CLEO") for a commercial about padded toilet seats. He made his own path that other stations tried to follow. Holland "Holly" Houfburg
