Charlie hired me to work in his Telecommunications group at AEP Ohio Power 37 years ago and was a wonderful, caring, manager. He provided the encouragement & motivation that kick started a naïve 22 year old into enjoying a long & great career in Telecommunications for AEP. I am also deeply in debt for the example he provided in sharing ones talents thru volunteering. It truly was a blessing to me for having known him.

Charlie was an amazing boss , the best I ever had, and a wonderful friend. It was Charlie that gave me the motivation to obtain my Ohio Professional Engineering License and I will forever be grateful to him for that. I will dearly miss him.
