Not sure what to say?

Bishop Vache maried me and my husban, baptised both of our sons, help with the funeral services for my parent, married my sister and best girl friend. He was one of the 1st clergyman I got to know and will always remember his sermons and his warm heart. He will be greatly missed by all who came to know him.I know he is with God and in a better place than his life had become. Fondly ,Kathryn Diggs Whitehurst

Father Charles Vache led my confirmation in 1963. At Longwood College I began attending the Episcopal Church in Farmville where his father was our priest. During the summer of 63 I approached Father Vache about being confrmed and in November of that year he conducted my confirmation. My Virginia friends kept me informed about his rise to Bishop. I will always consider him special in my life's journey and my relationship with the church.

Bishop Vache led my confirmation ceremony back in 1986 at Galilee Episcopal Church (Va Beach). He was my church's bishop for most of my years spent at Galilee before I joined the USAF in '91. God bless and keep you...

It was a pleasure to serve the Bishop Vache for the short time that we did. We sincerly are saddened by the news of his passing.
