Father Charles Vache led my confirmation in 1963. At Longwood College I began attending the Episcopal Church in Farmville where his father was our priest. During the summer of 63 I approached Father Vache about being confrmed and in November of that year he conducted my confirmation. My Virginia friends kept me informed about his rise to Bishop. I will always consider him special in my life's journey and my relationship with the church.
