Not sure what to say?

I was very saddened to learn of Charlie's passing, but I'm very thankful our paths crossed. He provided many great memories while playing in his band in the mid-80s. Charlie made his band members feel like a million dollars; always very encouraging. I have a group picture from his daughter's wedding reception in 1986 that includes 17 musicians! Thanks to Charlie, I got to play with the likes of Bill Fisher, Steve Varner, Jerry Swallow, Chris Bacas, etc... He treated us to breakfast many times...

I was deeply saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. He was a wonderful, caring and compassionate man who was extremely talented. I feel fortunate to have known him and to have had the pleasure to see him perform on many occasions. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with all of you. Take Care ~ Sandy

Dear Ones,

Oh, what awful news. I can't believe Charlie is gone. Some of my fondest memories are of all of us together. He was a wonderful man and will be terribly missed.

Andrea Aulenbach Wyman

Hey Charlie, we love you. Deepest sympathies. Please stop over some time.

My deepest sympathies; very fine leader and a great drummer; Charlie was the drummer for Bob Aulenbach when I joined the band and he always treated me like a friend.

I'll always remember how much Charlie loved to play in his band, and fondly, how much he drove us all nuts worrying about everything before a performance. :) He was a fantastic person and always took care of his family and friends. He was like a father to me and he'll be sorely missed by all. My deepest sympathy to MaryAnn, Charlie Jr. and family. Cindy

Please accept my sincerest sympathy
for your loss. I had no idea Charlie was ill. I know this is a
great loss to you and your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
