Not sure what to say?

Mr. Vlasic was an original Hockey Dad in the early days of EMHA. No official capacity but always helping out with little need for recognition. He always made kids feel good about a game; win or lose. Although, we did not lose many back in the day :) His son Tom, a former team mate and current Business Partner, possesses many of those positive characterics as well. Our deepest sympathy to the entire Vlasic Family.

Charlie was a great guy, lots of fun, easy to be around.
I worked wih Charlie in the Parts Dept & he was always ready to help with a smile. I called him "Boris Badenough" we had a few laughs over that
My condolences with the family & we know he is up in carpenters heaven

Bob, Shelley and Vlasic family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May our heavenly Father continue to be with you.

Dear Kay. Goldie & family.
Sorry to hear of your loss. We're at the moment in Long Beach, California visiting our family. I'm sorry we can't attend the services. I have fond memories of Charlie and his friend Martin. We were all teenagers together. Charlie worked for my Dad, Sam Vascic, who encouraged him to make something of himself--which he did. My Dad, even though he didn't see much of him, was proud of him. When Charlie met Kay she was the light of his life for 57 years. Our...

My condolences to the Vlasic family. My great memory of Mr. V was the ice rink he built for all the kids every year in the field so we could play pickup hockey every night under the lights. He was dedicated to minor hockey and the kids.I can still picture him wearing the old dark orange and black sleeved cotton Essex minor hockey jacket.God bless your sole Mr. V!

The Vlasic's, hard working, salt of the earth people and Charles Vlasic exemplified the good parts of society, generous and kind.

My association was through Tom and I first met "Mr. Vlasic" when I was in high school and they lived on Hopgood Side road. He had a Chrysler company car and travelled a lot for work, for a teenager that was amazing to me.Of course I found out later when I travelled for work, not as nice as it seems!

Later Tom and I went off to school in...

Charlie Vlasic was one of the greatest! He had a profound and positive effect throughout my life.

When I was 10 yrs. old playing hockey along side his son Tom he was one of those super hockey-Dads. He drove us to the rinks, helped tie our skates and win or lose made us feel like superstars. He always called me "Teeter", after the great Maple Leaf Teeter Ted Kennedy; I loved it.

When I was 19 he got me the best summer job I ever had working for Chrysler in Vancouver....
