Not sure what to say?

Best Skipper I had the pleasure to serve under in my 18+years at sea. He was highly respected if not feared by his officers and crew. The USS Ingraham FFG-61 ran like a well oiled machine. He demanded that hard work be recognized and rewarded. I specifically remember his wit and sense of humor. Fair winds Sir Don Sullivan IC1(SW) USN Retired

Linda and family: my deepest sympathy for the loss of Chuck last year. Honestly I don´t know what made me think of him tonight and decide to search the internet, but so I did. I am very sorry to know that he has passed away. Although it won´t show in my actions all these years in failing to look for him soonest , please know that I have thought of Chuck often and continue to do so. I have very good memories of our friendship together as "JOs" on the Fiske after his graduation from the...

A most beautiful mass and Interment yesterday at USNA for Chuck. A great leader and family man who dedicated his life to his country and family. He will be missed by all who had the privelege of knowing him.

RIP Skipper

Linda and family- Terribly sorry to hear of Cmdr Vogan´s passing., We have fond memories of him, as Mark was also a plankowner of the USS Ingraham. May the treasured memories carry you through this difficult time. Sending prayers and hugs from Iowa

Sincere condolences.

He was a companion FFG CO in INGRAHAM when I was in GARY, a fellow cruiser CO in LEYTE GULF when I was in BUNKER HILL, and a superb colleague in serving the Surface Navy in OPNAV. I remember so well the pleasure of working with Chuck and supporting his N865 office for a long time. I remember his cordial and most pleasant manner, even when wrestling with difficult decisions and wading through complicated Naval warfare analyses. Chuck...

A dear friend of unlimited generosity and kindness; also a competent shipmate of strategic excellence and leader of vision. I will always miss him.

"To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We live outside the touch of time." My big brother was loved and will be missed. I am proud of his accomplishments and legacy. Holding his whole family and friends in my heart.
