Not sure what to say?

you for your contributions. I enjoy history and have especially enjoyed the photos and stories about Oella.

I met Charles many years ago in Colorado. I particularly remember him telling me all about "beaten biscuits." He was an interesting person to talk to and was blessed with a great curiosity for many things. He found great pleasure and purpose in working to preserve the heritage of an entire community. I know he will be especially missed by his family and friends.

On behalf of St. Mary's Seminary & University, and especially its Ecumenical Institute, I want to express my deepest condolences to Mary Jo and the entire family. In addition to all Charles did for Oella and beyond, he was also a board member and faithful supporter of St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute in Baltimore. A kind, generous, and warm man, he will be missed by many. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Charles was a great guy, I got to know him when the Patapsco Heritage Greenway was just beginning. I came to appreciate his perseverence and positive attitude during tough situations. He was always an advocate for the Valley. He won't be forgotten.

A very, very special person, who lived a very full life.

Our Condolences to the family of Charles Wagandt ll, over 35 years he was as a founding member of the Friends of Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum.
He will truly be remembered as a dear Friend and supporter of this beautiful Park and Museum.
Cynthia T.deJesus, President Friends of Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum,Inc.
