The trip from Colrain St in Wyoming, Michigan to Hall St in Forrest Hills took forever when we were kids. There were no highways and speed limits were 40 mph. We stayed all day until dark and rode home exhausted. Why? Chuck and Cathy were country kids, and we had a blast with them. Chuck was adventurous to say the least and we climbed trees, explored the woods and even got to check out a new Forrest Hills school going up across the street! Chuck was my cousin. I have many memories from the time we were young and he lived with his family on Hall Street in Cascade, MI. Over time, we drifted apart and have not stayed in touch. I loved the recap of things Chuck loved that was provided by his sister Catherine. The picture of Chuck, together with her words, brought back fond memories. I´m saddened by the family´s loss and pray for all of us.
