Not sure what to say?

Dear Family of Charles Walters: I am wo sorry to hear of the death of Charles. My 2xGreat-grandmother, Amalia Pelzl was married to your ancestor, Augustus Walter in Catharine, Ellis, County, KS in the 1880's and we always felt so very greatful to August for the kindness he showed Amelia, her daughter, my Great-grandmother Catherine Pelzl and my granddad Al Pelzl.

my deepest , and belated sympathy to the family of Charles Walters. I found his writings late, but I am following his sage and well founded methods of saving soils and making the world a better place.
A huge loss to the world, and I mean that! His work will live on, and I hope someone one the family upholds his fine tradition.
Laurel ,Australia.

Dear Walters Family,
I wanted to let you all you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. It's so hard to lose your father. I will always have fond memories of Mr. Walters making us girls laugh. I especially admired all the loving attention he gave Jenny; he was a good man.
Love,

I have no words to fully express my sadness at the passing of Charles Walters. I will remember him as a teacher, father-figure, mentor and friend who helped me, encouraged me, and supported my work during the most diffucult time in my life. Charles was a lodestar of leadership and he stood as a strong example for all of us who have learned from him. He possessed a unique understanding of our planet from the atom to macro-economics that few men will ever equal. He brought this...

My uncle, and his brothers, were always bigger than life to kid - the son of one of their sisters - in Texas. One of the smartist men I have ever know. I will miss him. Bless you Ann.

With the passing of Charles Walters the country has lost one of its finest independent newpaper editors. Chuck prided himself on his independence and was willing to explore subjects few other editors touched. He believed that people deserved to have access to information rarely published elsewhere. His passion was economics, agricultulture and nutrition and through his magazine ACRES USA he brought to the public a wide range of facual information, opinion, interviews with innovators,...

All my love and prayers go out to you and your family, Ann. It is my privilege to have known him.

Ann, Chris, Fred, Tim and Jenny...
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always appreciate Chuck being my first real "boss" and all that he taught me. Many of the things I learned from him about life and the ways of the world I understand more and more as I get older. I bet he and Joe are in the midst of a discussion right now.

Sincerely,
Mary & Curt
