Charles was born on June 21, 1932 and passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Charles was a resident of Pottsville, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. He was a 1950 graduate of Cass Township High School, and worked as an anthracite miner for the Baron Coal Company and the Swatara Coal Company. Funeral services will be held in First United Methodist Church, 144 Carbon Street, Minersville, on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted to be used in accordance with the wishes of the family.
