Charles Wilson Weakley

Charles Wilson Weakley, 72, of Charlottesville, formerly of Madison died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital.

He was born November 14, 1935, in Gore, Virginia, the son of the late Wilson Franklin Weakley and Della Weakley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl Carson Weakley.

Mr. Weakley was a retired finisher foreman for E. A. Clore and Sons in Madison where he work for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca C. Weakley of Charlottesville; a daughter, Rachel A. Arisoy and her husband, Emre, of Charlottes-ville; a son, Nathanael C. Weakley of Charlottesville; a brother, Harold Wayne Weakley of Gordonsville; two half brothers, Steve Weakley and Russell Weakley, both of Madison; three sisters, Ellen Lamb of Timberville, Bernice Shifflett of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Jean L. Yowell of Gordonsville; and a grand-child, Heather Marie Mack of Charlottesville.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Etlan cemetery conducted by Pastor Josh Shifflett and Pastor Wendell Lamb.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison.
