To Mr. Weaver's Family and Friends!
I am very sorry to learn of the death of Mr. Weaver. I met him in 1986 when he moved to 53rd Street in
Savannah. He was a wonderful, kind and friendly neighbor and so very proud of his record as an ACE Pilot and proud of all the ACE pilots and enjoyed the many reunions he attended while he was my neighbor.
Mr. Weaver will be sorely missed.

Linda, BJ and family, Your dad was a wonderful person. I enjoyed spending time with him this past summer while he was being cared for by Cindy. We had him over on Fathers' Day and got some very nice pictures. He was a unique person-always such a fine gentleman and eager to make everyone feel special. We'll miss him.

We are sorry for your loss, we met Mr. Weaver after I became friends with his daughter Leslie in the early 90's. The world has lost a one-of-a-kind hero and a truly wonderful person. I regret that due to the upcoming holiday I am unable to get off work to attend the service, but you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I don't believe I ever met Mr. Weaver, but I have learned so much about him through my sister, Cindy Bowen, who cared for him toward the end and loved him dearly. She has many great stories to share of Mr. Weaver, and I have learned more about this 'classic American Hero' by reading about his life in this newspaper. My heart goes out to Linda, who I befriended during a great vacation at Tybee Beach, and to Cindy, who I know came to love this great man.

Our condolances to the friends and family
