I am so sorry to hear that Ps. Wertz passed away. He was such an asset to our community and our Lutheran churches. I remember him from our East Erie Cluster of Lutheran churches to which he encouraged and added so many ideas and shared his knowledge. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Kelly: I just found out about your dad and am so sorry for your loss.

I remember a lot about your dad. He married my brother Steve at Faith Lutheran Church back in 1991 and was gracious enough to let me get married there earlier that same year by my then husband's minister (who was from Hershey, PA) who officiated the service.

Your dad was a very kind man and I am sure will be missed by everyone who knew him.

My prayers are with you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Wertz
family for the loss this fine gentleman. I had the pleasure of meeting him at PSBA PAST PRESIDENTS meetings and greatly appreciated his wisdom. God be with you, Ruth Dex

Dear Sandy, so sorry to hear about Pastor. I think of you often. Mom loved her Pastor and he kept her love of God alive. Sending my prayers. Love to your family, Barb Yaple and mom too.

We were so sorry to hear of Pastors passing. He made an impression to all who met him and were inspired by him. We were blessed to have been part of his life.

Kelly, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was such a nice man. My prayers are with you and your family.

Pastor Wertz baptized both of my children. We weren't members of his church, but had family that were. He invited us in as if we were his own kin.Beautiful soul. Wonderful man.
