Not sure what to say?

Our deepest sympathy to the whole family. Chuck will be missed! We hadn't seen him very much over the past few years yet this came as a shock to us. We just found out today. :(

Patty, sock-face, & Chuck

What follows was presented as a eulogy for Chuck Wickering on August 27, 2013:

Chuck's house was always a welcoming place. In our early 20's I'd show up knowing there would be lots of smoke n' joke, laughs & frequently musical noise that would range from subtle to glorious, with plenty of dynamics in between. Chuck ... is that your buddy Blue in the photo here? I will fondly remember the times we shared in the flower of our youth, and know that those now close to you will miss you dearly.

It sadens me to know your gone, I will always remember our good times. You are whole now and at peace. Prayers to Betsy and all of your family. The girls and I will never forget you!

The Wickering's were an inspiration to us all at Catholic Central. My father knew the great family as well. God bless everyone who spent time with and knew Chuck. He had such a good heart.

An amazing guy and a dear friend. My love to Betsie, Shirley, Deb, Bette, Patty Ann and Mark and the rest of his friends who will miss him like I will. Chuck would call me up every opening day of baseball season. For you Chuck, Go Tigers.

So sorry to hear of Chuck's passing, but at least he's out of that chair and in a better place now. My thoughts are with him and his family.

Rest in Peace Dear Brother Charles. You deserve it! As far as many things go, you set the bar, none better! Thank you. I will cherish our memories and life together! You made me the luckiest sister in the world!

So sad my sweet "American brother" is gone. I feel blessed for having known him. My deepest sympathy and love to Shirley, Deb, Mark, Bette and Patty Ann.
