Not sure what to say?

Dr. Bruce Jones and I came to Escondido in 1974 looking for a place to practice medicine. We were fortunate to find space in the building with Don Wickliffe, Rob, T.P.and Clyde Bassett.

Not only were they nice to two young family docs, but were mentors for us in those starting up years. They helped ease us into the medical community and provided invaluable insigh.

During that time, I played tennis with Don. He was better, but I had younger legs at the time so our matches went...

Dr. Wildliffe was one of those rare doctors who made you feel calm in his office, not "white coat" nervous. He delivered all four of our sons over 40 years ago. The best family doctor ever.

We moved to Escondido in 1959 and chose Dr Wickliffe as our family doctor. He delivered our daughter Denise in 1960. We doctored with the three Wickliffes for many years. They were fine people.

My Mom & Dad were very good friends with all the Wickliffe's. He was our doctor when we moved here in 1964. He was a fine man and we will miss him!

Dr. Wickliffe delivered me over 40 years ago. Over the years I would run into him and his lovely wife Ginny. They would both greet me as if I was their best friend and no time had past. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family, he was a wonderful man.

What a wonderful man. He was my dad's best friend, and always made our life interesting and fun. Living next door to you all was the best. Our families have so many memories together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Linda

Dr. Wickliffe was our first doctor when we moved to Escondido in 1964 and he delivered our son, Jeffery in 1968. There was never a better place to go for treatment and checkups than his office. Unfortunately, there wasn't a replacement for him when he retired in 1987. We will always cherish our "best days" when Dr. Wickliffe was our medical professional.
