A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts, through us, they live on. We have lost a wonderful person who had a strong patriotism and was an inspiration to all of us cadets in NDCC. We will miss him dearly. My condolences to the entire family. God rest his soul. I too have many fond memories of knowing him and being a part of NDCC as a Sponsor, competing on the varsity rifle team, serving as Military Ball Queen (1966), and working with him creating lesson plans. He was a good leader and a great guy.

I'm sorry to learn of "our" loss. The Colonel had a profound impact on the lives of many a North Central High School student fortunate enough to have known him.
