Charles B. Wilkins

On this day, I´ve read again of Chiz´s bravery and commendation of the Silver Star. I will remember him for as long as my mind will allow. I´ll never forget the honor he bestowed on my husband and I as he asked, when I told him we were going to Normandy, would we go to Baupte, and say his name out loud? We did. I am forever grateful to him and his sacrifices during his service to our country and, indeed, the world. Thank you, sir.
