Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the family. May God's word bring you comfort and hope (John 6:40).

Sorry to read of Charlie's Passing. Know he will be greatly missed. So long old friend. WHS Class of 1957 Claudette Wokaty Poirier.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. I never met Charlie in person, but knew him as our fearless leader on the AOL Golden Retriever message board. He worked hard to keep it a friendly board and many friendships were forged with his help. I will be forever grateful to him for that. May he find comfort and peace now with the loves of his life, Gayle and Georgie. God bless and Dogspeed, Charlie.

I want Charlie's family and friends to know that he had a wonderful 'Golden' family. I first met him when we got our first Golden Retriever and joined the AOL Golden Message Board in 1998. Charlie was our board moderator at the time. Many of us formed a long lasting friendship with Charlie. I personally met Charlie and his wife Gail on two different occasions here in Colorado. There is a huge hole in our Golden hearts as we just learned of Charlie's passing. May you feel comfort in...

I first met Charles in the sixth grade at Sanger Elementary school in Waco---Ida Gill's class! I fondly remember specific interactions with him! He had a great sense of humor and he enjoyed tinkering with all things electronic and mechanical. He was in charge of the PA system in the gym at Waco High School. We will miss him!

Sorry, the message about SHIPS AHOY was from
JB Hicks

Charlie, I'm really saddened to be reading this. I had decided weeks ago to put in my new house the SHIPS AHOY sign that u built for me about 20 years ago. I'll recall all the lunches, talks, ur craftsmanship and many other moments that we shared thru the years. I'm so grateful for the short visit with you recently after so many months.

It was a privilege to know Charles. He was a lot of fun and I have nothing but good memories from our sailing days in the EMYC. So very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolence to his family.

Chuckiebabe was my best friend for over 50 years, and thru our complete careers with IBM. I enjoyed watching him cruise thru life, mastering every opportunity and challenge that came his way. We've all lost a great friend, and this last year was the happiest of his life... Goodbye, old friend.
