Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel - Wilmington Obituary

Charles Edward Wills II, also known by family and friends as 'Chuck', departed this life on November 18, 2024 at NHRMC in Wilmington, NC.

He was born on August 9, 1963 in Charleston, WV. The son of the Margaret Wills and the late Charles Wills.

Chuck was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather. An avid fisherman, he always carried his fishing gear ready to fish in any waters. He also loved playing beach volleyball. Chuck was an OG in the 'Capt'n Bills' community. And he cherished spending time outdoors with his niece and three nephews.

He is survived by his son Elliott Bailey-Wills, his brother Timothy Wills, and his sister Susan Kingsley.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 13, 2024 at Andrews Mortuary 4108 S. College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412

Not sure what to say?

We have many good memories of Chuck from our days in Nitro together. We will always remember his fun loving personality and kind spirit. The Laton family grieves with you, misses you, and loves you Wills family.

I knew Chuck from nearly his first day on this planet, being his oldest cousin on the Cyrus side of the family. And I can say, that from his early years until the end, he was a loving and caring person. He had a happy outlook on life most of the time, certainly when we were growing up, but evident even moreso during his declining health years. Even after his family moved from WV to NC, upon occasion we were able to catch up and he always mentioned his son Elliott, his mother and father...

Aunt Margie, Tim and Susan, I am so very sorry for your loss. I will truly miss him too. He holds a special place in my heart. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
