Charles G. “Chuck” Wilson, 71, of Plainfield Township, passed way, Friday, February 24, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. He was the husband of Lucinda L. Hockenberry.
Born in Reading, PA, May 8, 1951, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Black) Wilson.
He was a graduate of Reading High School and served in the US Airforce during the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as an inspector for Carpenter Tech. He later drove School Bus for Berks County Intermediate Unit.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Pen Argyl. He enjoyed collecting vinyl records, walking his dog “Sydnee”, his aquariums, and gardening.
In addition to his wife, Lucinda, he is survived by three daughters, Angie, Bobbie Jo, and Tina, grandchildren, great grandchildren, step daughter, Jamie Schisler and her significant other, Paul Praino, and his sister in law, Jeanann Hinkle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, June Wilson.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 11 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Avenue, Pen Argyl. There will be a viewing beginning at 10 AM until 10:45 AM, Thursday at the church. Interment will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood, PA. The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072.
