I have known Charles all my grammer school and high school and it was wonderfull to see him at the last few class reunions. I know we will all miss him this year at our class reunion especially Claire Vignoli who did quite a bit of the work for the reunions with Charles.

We are so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We will miss seeing him when Aunt Clare comes to NJ, as their visits and reunions were always fun for us, too! He was a very interesting person and a true gentleman when it came to helping others and being patient. Our condolences to his family.

Mr. Wingate( Charlie) was a most gracious co-host and historian for the " River Rats" of Billingsport at his 70th Paulsboro High School Reunion. (Class of 1938). Peg Brayton, Class of '4, PHS.

I thank Charles for the many hours we spent together while his Father was the keeper in Billingsport. Also for our time as members of the DeMolay I am now in Florida and send my sincere sympathy to his family..

Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Charlie we have talked to him on the phone and have heard from Mom of his many fine qualities. He is sure to be missed by all who knew and loved him. We are so sorry.
