It has been almost a year now, and I still think of Charlie Withers, ... frequently. I knew Deacon Withers for more than 40 years, working together with the postal service, and serving with him in church. He was a very unusual man, and God only made a few. I never knew him to anger or even raise his voice. He was thoughtful, caring, compassionate, not a lot of fanfare, but, a true follower of Christ. I felt better whenever he was around. I...
