Charles Witty

Joe Witty stood tall for all who knew him as a friend, educator or even casually. He, like his parents, and like his wife, Carolyn, were perhaps the greatest examples of how to live a positive and productive life. He will be missed by all in the Adrian community and beyond.

The Witty Family has been a tremendous positive influence on the community of Adrian, Oregon. I attended Adrian Schools from first grade to high school graduation, as did many of the 34 classmates in my high school graduating class. As fourth graders, many of us experienced the great teaching of Joe's father, Charles Witty. Several years later many of us again experienced the positive influence of the Witty family, as we learned both educational and moral leadership in our "Ag" classes...
