Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear this news. I and my wife Carolyn worked with Charlie at PRR offices. He was a swell person and a credit to his family and the PRR. Jim & Carolyn Stevenson, formerly of Cleveland, OH - now living in Pinehurst, NC.

WHAT A GREAT GUY!!! HIS ONLY FAILING, AS FAR AS I COULD TELL, WAS THAT FOR 74 YEARS HE INSISTED MY NAME WAS 'TIM' NOT 'TEM'....A LOSS.

I knew Chud for many years as his friend and his financial adviser.Although he did his own research and investing through me.I have retired but i will truly miss his laugh and good humor. He was good to know.He will be missed

Charlie was a special person who had the knack of making whoever was with him feel special. He was great at turning ideas into actions. On one occasion we drove to Philadelphia in order to ride a trolley from one side of the city to the other and return. Charlie was busy taking pictures and chatting. By the end of the trip he had the name and address of the motorman in order to share the pictures with him. After ten minutes with Charlie, no one was a stranger.

We so appreciated his service with and work on The Horse-Shoe Trail Conservancy (formerly Club). He was a valued member of the board and instrumental in bringing about our 2009 "strategic plan". Personally he was the first person i met in the Club and one of the reasons i joined. His love of open space was infectious!

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Wolfinger while taking care of his wife during her stay at Tel Hai Retirement Community.....Mr. Wolfinger was a wonderful man, always very pleasant and friendly to those that he passed in the halls. He was always able to put a smile on my face when I was having a down day....He will be missed.

Always my favorite uncle and forever a role model to me
Chud made the world a better place and we will miss him

Mr. Wolfinger was a valued and respected volunteer at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was devoted to his fellow veterans, freely giving his time and energy to assist them in their time of need. On behalf of the Coatesville VAMC family of veterans and staff, we offer our sincere condolences to Mr. Wolfinger's family, on the passing of this humble servant and proud veteran, a charter member of the Greatest Generation. In sympathy, Gary W. Devansky, Director, Coatesville VAMC

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Wolfinger, as his secretaray, many years ago at Conrail. He was truly a memorable gentleman. My condolences to his family.
