Not sure what to say?

Hi Cheryl, Mike and Cindy, Your dad was a wonderful gift to my life. He helped me learn have to think, talk and act like a man. No loud yelling, simply stated life lessons. I loved the guy. Andy Wood

I just learned of Coach Working's passing. What a great man! His influence on my life remains with me to this day. You can only imagine how often I reflect on the lessons he taught regarding 'never give up.'
To Mike, Cindy, and Cheryl, your dad was a good man.

Dick Working had a wonderful impact on my life and the lives of countless young men. I had the privilege of spending 26 wonderful summers with Dick at Camp DeWitt in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Our sincere condolences to the Working family. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of coach Working. He was a true gentleman and a Baltimore legend. My thoughts and prayers are with the Working family. We will miss you coach.

To the Working Family- your Dad and Mom were great friends to my parents for many years, and I loved playing baseball for your Dad during my years at McDonogh. You were lucky to have such great parents, my thoughts are with you at this time. This news brought back many great memories of your Dad for me.

My condolences to the Working family, especially to Mike who was a best friend during my years at McDonogh. I have fond memories of Coach Working and his family, as I was a frequent visitor to the family home in Jane Bay. I remember Coach telling me that my southern accent was so strong that he couldn't even understand me curse. Tom Turner, Class of 1966.

DearCheryl, Jonathan, and family,

We were so sorry to hear of your father's (grandfather's) passing. He was an incredible man and one of the real legendary figures in McDonogh's history. From the classroom to the athletic fields, he led with passion, integrity, and a true sense of personal engagement. He was a tremendous role model for all of us. He will be missed, but never forgotten in the greater Baltimore community! You all are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult...

My deepest condolences to the entire Working family. As a camper at Red Cloud for a number of years, "coach" was an inspiration to many and helped set the standards for us as we became adults. He will be missed by all. Bruce C. Young
