Charles William Worley, age 99, of Hillsville, VA, went to be with his Savior on October 21, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Not sure what to say?

Thank you to the Worley family for including Charles' obit in the Dahlonega, GA newspaper, 'The Dahlonega Nugget.' I was classmates in school for my growing up years with Gary and Kathy. Ironically my father was also in the Air Corps and born in 1920. (another tad of irony, my wife is from Chatham, VA) I was not around Charles much and did not know him - but with the wisdom I now have at 66, I can see Charles as a man who knew how to live well and simply - probably without having to think...

My sincere condolences to the Worley family. I was a classmate of Kathy's and Gary's at CCHS. May your sweet memories sustain you until you meet again.

Every Year Was So SPECIALc

What wonderful life to celebrate. Sending love and support to the family.

Sincere sympathy and condolences to all Charlies family and friends. We remember him fondly, as we began our work career in 1970, with Lees Carpet, and in the community he so generously served and lived. His friendly and strong leadership help form a workforce that helped many of us raise our families and build our homes. He always made each employee feel like they mattered to the companys success. His inspiration, life and legacy will not be forgotten.

Kathy, Gary, and family: I have very fond memories of your Dad and being his neighbor in Hillsville.
Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Worley was such a kind man, he always made you feel welcome at his home.

I went to school with Gary and Kathy. So sorry for your loss.
