dear family:

please allow me to express my deepest sympathy upon the loss of your charles. no words can replace him. no one knew him like you did and no one loved him like you did. i pray as he struck his tent for the final time, and as he crossed over that beautiful river that he is now resting under the beautiful trees of paridise. i also thank you for his military service to his country. i hope and pray that as your tears begin to dry that you will know that you are loved and that your charles's memory will be honored and respected.

sincerely,

jud malcolm-- life member of the american legion, and the disabled american veterans.
