Charles Wright Obituary
Coshocton : Charles Wright, age 93 passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Signature Health Care. Charles was born on March 14, 1924 in Tyndel, Ohio to the late Charles and Minnie (Hall) Wright. He was a graduate from Conesville High School and served in the US Army from 1943 to 1945. He later worked in factories until his retirement as the janitor at the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene. On May 19, 1947 he married Eloise Campbell where they spent 54 years together until her passing in 2001. In his younger years, he was an avid runner and even exercised into his mid-eighties.
Charles is survived by his children, Steven Wright of Florida and Elaine Porter of Coshocton; grandchildren, Dennis Porter, Gini, Julie and Jamie Wright; great-grandchild, Carah Porter.
He is preceded in death by his nine brothers and sisters.
Calling hours for Charles will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens with the Coshocton County Veterans Council performing military honors.

I can remember Mr. Wright from years ago when he was a patient where I worked...he was just the nicest sweet man...one of my favorite patients...what a legend he must be to you his family to love him & have him in your lives so many year...deepest sympathy

Elaine and family, We are sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He was a sweet gentleman and we enjoyed our visits with him when he was my dads roommate at Signature. Deepest Sympathy.
