May God bless & keep you. My condolences to the family. Charles was always a pleasure to talk with and we shared many laughs and experiences. Katrina separated me from all my friends but I never forgot them and what has happened between then and now. I have many nice memories of our times together. Rest in peace my friend.

Charles mentored me at the Louisiana Department of Revenue. Charles was the first black auditor. He showed me the ropes and where all the land mines were buried. He was like a father to me and he made certain that I did the right thing. I was fortunate to travel with him and I spent a lot of time just getting to know him. Charles Wright is a class act and we will all miss him. He may be gone from our sight, but he will never leave our hearts. Rest Hommie, and God Speed. Earl

I am praying for Charles' family and friends that God will strengthen them during this difficult time. May the memories of Charles bring you joy and comfort for many years to come. Charles was one of my supervisors at the LA DOR and he was a joy to be around. During some local and out of town trips, I got an opportunity to meet some of his family members. I even got some opportunities to talk with him when I visited my home church in New Orleans. God is still in control!!!

Though I haven't seen Charles in a while, I will never forget our good old days in Real Estate with Joyce, Cherrie, Charles and I. We was a good team together and always enjoyed each others company. I am offering my deepest sympathy to the family. I know he will definitely be missed.

Charles Wright was one of a kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working under his Supervision at LA DOR. My prayer for His family is that God keeps your mind strong. With a strong mind...Mr. Charles is just one good memory away.... Thanks for the memories Charles....
