Dear Zacharias Family - My deepest sympathies for your loss. Charlie and I were classmates at both St Mary of the Woods and Notre Dame High School. I remember him as being a good friend who always cared deeply about his family. In short, he was a really good guy. May God bless you all.

Dear Joanne & all of Charlie's family. Your Mom was so proud of Charlie. After reading his history, I can see why. Clearly I lost touch after grade school, but never forgot those who set me on the right path during my formative years. I read a daily gospel reading. The "golf for food team" on the first tee at Wakonda, circa 1990´s. Charles was our steady leader, while Dr. Allan Kaufman was sneaky good. With our handicaps we could occasionally create fun mischief. Charles was a wonderful partner in our medical practice, but such a gracious and patient person to golf with. Those Saturday outings at Wakonda {and then later in Arizona} are some of my happiest memories....
