I learned a lot about Kirk's life from the wonderful piece in the paper...photographer, humorous and loving husband and father, courageous in the face of great challenge. We have known Kirk for over 30 years, since the time Elaine was a group leader with Pam for an SLO Girl Scouts day camp. Kirk took photos for our 10th anniversary that we still have on display and look at every day. He was modest about his accomplishments as Stan found out when he teamed with Kirk for the relay division of the Cuesta Biathlon. So sorry to read about Kirk's passing. In 1985, when my husband and I got married, Kirk was our Photographer. Our photos are beautiful and it is so nice to have them as my husband passed away in 1998.
