This obituary brought back so many memories. I have always had a special bond with my twin sister's husband. Although he may have married into a huge extended Becker farm Family from Nebraska( a little out side his comfort zone), he became a treasured part of our lives. We enjoyed his visits to Nebraska and our trips to Virginia. We are grateful that he continued to come back for Becker Family Reunions after Joyce's death. So well written, worthy of the intelligent and witty man it is in homage to. A great man who raised some pretty incredible sons, Charles will be missed. But solace can be taken in the incredible life he lived and what an impact he had on so many people. Will forever fondly remember the summer visits to Nebraska (what had to be considered far past the edge of civilization for Charles, but he would always make the most of it) of Charles, Joyce, and my favorite cousins.
