Not sure what to say?

Deepest sympathy on the passing of our famous Charlie. My Aunt Helen Koerner called to let me know. Wish we could be there to share in your grief. Best Regards!

Charley, thanks for the memories. Driving down Lorain Ave., coming up to W. 94th St., dosen't matter what's in the building now, it's still Charley's and he's still in there, either behind the counter or helping you look for what it is your buying. Charley had some stories about the "Old Days", but he could always listen to what you had to say and if need be he could give you some advice also. I can picture the day Charley decides to flagpole sit up in Heaven. Saint Peter, you've got some...

Sorry, for your great lost love one. Charlie was in everyone heart. He had such a bright
out look on life. He will be missed but, always remembered. I do remember when he
opened his store in the early morning hours when others were closed. He would say I am
opened after the rest are home with their families. Charlie had two families, one at home
and another one on Lorain Ave.
We would have great conversations in his store at late hours. I always enjoyed talking...

Who can forget Charlie sitting behind the counter of his store on Lorain Ave. always with a smile, never a time went by when I could not get Charlie to tell me stories of Cleveland where I grew up, and his flagpole sit, Chuck Jr. and I would laugh an talk over a softdrink, once I offended Chuck when he wished me good luck on something, I said I don't consider luck, Chuck was hurt becouse he like his dad had compashion on people. God bless you Charlie Lupika and thank you for the many smiles...

My grandfather was Charles Lupica, a cousin of the deceased. My mother was Anne Nobilio (Lupica) daughter of Charles and Maria. I have a picture of Charley, his cousin Charley, and my mother. Your Charley was so active and very proud of his book and accoumplishment shown on Ripley's believe it or not, on pole sitting. I had spoken to him for many hours over the years, and I will be very sad not to speak to him again. God bless him. Sincerely, Denise Mazzeo
