Oh gosh. This is late but heartfelt. I always loved your music, voice and lyrics. You are sorely missed, but your legendary voice lives on. I know you’re resting easy, singing and playing ball with Jackie.

I'm so sorry Uncle that I didn't get the chance to get to know you better but the little I did I'm happy

I am in 4th grade and I am doing a black history month project on him and I found his life interesting. I listened to his music for the first time and played it 10 times.God bless him and his family

Just listening to Kiss an angel good morning, i play it over and over again. He was a handsome man, and his appearance on Marty Stuart show is my favorite one to watch. what a great guy!

Rest In Heaven

Charley played baseball & started his music career in Helena, Montana. My father (Dan ) played the drums in their band at the Silver Spur & other local gigs. I had th opportunity to meet him when he returned to Helena for a visit during his musical heyday. He remembered my Dad & his early days in Helena.
