In the late 1980 Charlie came to Hair DeSigns by Léon in Richardson,Texas to get his hair Cut and Styled .I Linda Mae Williams was a Hair Stylist their,Charlie brought his daughter Angie with him and I pressed and Styled her hair.I would always have Angie an Orange Crush Soda .I ask Charlie to play and sang a song for me.Charlie went and got his Guitar and sang.. Roll on Mississippi. I will always Cherish that special day Rest in peace,Charlie Pride.

As a kid growing up in Jamaica, we only had a radio. When I heard ''Just Between You and Me,'' I didn't know he was black. What a voice! RIP Super Charley Pride
