Not sure what to say?

To the family, many, many friends, and fans of this great person who played and loved the game of football. Mr. Mr. Charley Taylor was a legendary Washington wide receiver who caught over 600 passes during his Hall of Fame career. He had a wonderful career in football. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with Mr. Charley Taylor. To The Taylor Family,
I hope you find peace and solace in your time of need. We pray that the days ahead bring you peace and comfort. Mr. Taylor was a golf buddy of mind. I always use Mr. Taylor quote "You can be bad; but you can't bad and slow". I will truly miss him, he was a great Man.

Peace Brother,
Your Friend, Larry "Big Fellow" Bridges

What a talented player, truly a legend. Heartfelt sympathies to the Taylor family, may God help you all as you endure this very difficult time of your loss.

My condolences.

To the Taylor Family, we thank Charley for his football career, but we are most grateful for his spirit. He was a man to model after for so many. We can't all be NFL players, but we can all have a positive impact in the lives of our family and friends. We thank you for all you've done. May you receive the words "well done good and faithful servant".

To a man who was as kind off the field as he was tough on the field. Charley made everyone feel special. He had a heart of gold. My condolences to his wife, family and friends. Fly high my friend. R.I.H.

Watch out heaven here comes #42 rest IN PARADISE mr.42

Awe, Charley... Now in God's arms. You were not just an awesome, incredible athlete whom I loved to watch break tackles, but you were also a good, warm & decent man.

Readers may recall the 1972 NFL Championship game at RFK when many players & staff had the darn flu! Despite many sick players, Skins still won the Championship!!!

To your beautiful family: On behalf of myself and family, please accept our deepest sympathies and love for your husband, dad and grandad.

A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME .
LOVING PRAYERS WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO MR.TAYLOR’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS ❤
