May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Elvia, I used to live across the street from you on Valiant until I divorced my husband. I was a member of DFD for 25 years and I just want you to know my heart goes out to you and your family. I didn't work much with Charlie but always thought he was a great guy. I know it has been a long road for you and I hope you will find peace in his release from this physical world. So sorry for your loss. Many prayers for you and your family.

Many thanks to the Dallas Fire Department for honoring my brother-in-law and taking such great care of my sister and family. It has been very moving to witness the bond Charlie had with his fellow fire fighters. Charlie touched many lives and will be missed. I know he is in a better place and will continue to watch over his family. I am sad now, but will laugh later when I reminisce about funny moments. I will miss you.
