The Louvin Brothers were a great part of my life growing up in the forties and fifties, great singers

My father bought a house from Charlie (917 Mitchell Road) in Nashville, in 1957. At that time the Louvin brothers were hitting it big, and moving up in the world. My father developed a friendship with Charlie, and received a special deal on the house, with many extras thrown in. ( Ira lived across the street, and was selling his house as well). I still have in my possession two record albums given to my father by Charlie, signed by him, with the notation, "thanks to some nice people,...

im 67 and I still sing its a part of my life, I believe I have been a fan of both brothers singing and even though I never met them I guess its because my brother and I used to sing together until he moved to Ontario Canada I still live in nova scotia and we get together now and then in summer so sad, we will miss you brother rest in piece..
