Charlie George Mack

Born in Hot
Springs, Arkansas. He is the oldest son of eight children, five sisters, and three brothers. Charlie grew up in South Los Angeles. While attending Jefferson High School, Charlie excelled in mathematics. He was captain of the chess club. His skills and discipline
led him to enlist in the Army and he served his country for three years in Japan. When he returned to California, he met and married Ana Beatriz. They enjoyed life with their two daughters, Christina and Maria, in Walnut, California.

The laugh,
charm, and sense of humor were the signature of Charlie. When people heard his laugh, it just lit up the whole room. In addition, Charlie’s consistency, dependability, and strong example inspired all who knew him. He worked at Los Angeles County-USC General
Hospital for forty years.

All who knew
him respected him for the man that he was. Charlie was also known for his generous spirit and kindness. He will be greatly missed by his wife, daughter, godchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters, and friends. Can’t wait to hear your laugh again.
