Charlie Wright "CW" Perkins

I never met CW but I had heard many stories. My late husband, Mark Mercer had played with CW for a period of time and he always spoke so highly of him both as a musician and a person. I saw in the paper his passing and I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I know he had to have touched many lives. It will be four years this month since my husband died and I know that he and CW are together again and the music sounds even better than it did all those years ago.

Maria thought the world of him and described him as one of the most adorable, sweetest men she knew. There is no doubt that he is with our Wonderful Father, Our Creator. I met Mr Perkins in 1990 while hunting in Monroe County. He was always in a good mood, he gave advice you could fill your freezer with, and he always left with a deer in his truck. To the Perkins family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Mr. Perkins.
