Charlie Pierce

Charlie Pierce was an iconic figure in local politics for many, many years, and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work side-by-side with him on electing good folks to office. Many complain, but few do the hard work to make our country a better place – Mr. Pierce was one of those rare leaders. The news of his death makes me very sad, indeed, and my prayers are with everyone who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, and rise in glory.

Mr. Pierce was quite the quintessential progressive political leader and teacher in the city of Birmingham, state of Alabama and the United States of America. His compassion for neighborhood organizing kept him at the forefront of everyone's concerns for quality living. "Charlie Pierce".
